Gastonia Pediatric Associates is excited to welcome Charlene Guffey, FNP-C as our newest practice medical provider.
Charlene Guffey, FNP-C, is a born-and-raised North Carolinian. She has two degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her first degree was a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Recreation Therapy, where she worked as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for several years before returning to UNC-CH.
Charlene enjoys working in the role of nurse practitioner, as her lifelong passion has always been to help and care for other individuals.

We are here for you when you need us. We are open 360 days per year, 7 days per week. We are only closed on major holidays, 5 days each year.
We have office hours everyday of the week for your well, sick, and urgent care needs.
You have access to advice from medical professionals for calls, questions, and concerns at any time 24 hours a day. We are conveniently located, and easy to access.
Gastonia Pediatrics is one of the first children’s medical practices in our area. We have treated 3 generations of families in our area and served many thousands of children and their parents for over 60 years.
We are owned and directed by our own physicians, not a big corporation or hospital system so our office atmosphere is a very unique personal experience for you and your family. All our physicians live in Gastonia, serve various non –profit local community programs and support our local economy.
